NC State senior quarterback Ryan Finley discusses several of his talented pass-catchers with the media.

Thoughts on Cary Angeline...
With the game he has to sit on and that whole situation, but I'm really excited when we have him back.

He's just a really huge target... really, really good natural hands.  Hoping for him to post some guys up and he can be good on third downs.

Is that the same thing with your wide receivers and their size?
We've got dogs.  Kelvin, Steph, and Jakobi, they are straight dogs.  They can run, they are huge, and they are great redzone targets.

I'm excited for what we'll be able to do this season.

How are those guys unique?
They are unique in their own way.

Kelvin and Steph are super hard workers. They have a real passion for the game. I think they know why they play, they have goals, and intend on reaching them.

Like I said, extremely hard workers... big physical guys, great route runners. Kelvin has a knack for the ball and Steph is very powerful. He gets open a lot and comes down with tough catches.

Jakobi is a little more swift, a little more fluid.   He is really good against man coverage and has really reliable hands. He's good with the ball in his hands.

They all have their unique strengths we can use in different situations.  I'm excited to have all three together.

When Jakobi Meyers transitioned from quarterback to wide receiver was there a moment when you thought this guy could be good?
I think there was definitely more than one.

His first practice, everyone was eager to find out, and he didn't drop a ball.

I think it was pretty quick we all knew. We all knew how good of an athlete he was. We were eager to see how fast he could pick it up.

It's crazy, a year ago it was a completely different story, and he's turned into a monster.  It's exciting.  That's a tribute to lots of coaches for making that move.  It's definitely been a success and a cool story.

Is this a season where you anticipate lighting up the scoreboard?
Absolutely.  That's the plan.

What is Kelvin Harmon's work rate, in terms of being prepared?
I'm not sure you can really compare it to anyone else.  I've been to two different universities and I've never met anyone quite like Kelvin.

He just spends more time at his craft.  That's a simple way to put it.

He realizes that the work he does off the field translates, and he's always at the facility getting better. He definitely has his priorities in mind, and that's why he's been successful.
