TOP 10 PLAYS: No. 3 Jakobi's Touchdown Catch vs. FSU
July is here, which means football is right around the corner!
This week we started a month-long feature at Inside Pack Sports where we look back at NC State's top offensive and defensive plays from the 2017 season.
The plays are selected on a variety of factors, ranging from level of difficulty, overall impact, importance to the game/season, etc...
James, Steve, and Bryant reviewed the best plays and submitted their top ten plays on each side of the ball. We put together a composite list, and we will be releasing each play daily, so enjoy!

We are now in the Top Three of our Top 10 Offensive Plays of the 2017 aseason, and No. 3 is the huge play from the Wolfpack's win at Florida State... the long touchdown pass to Jakobi Myers from Ryan Finley.
Really good play design here as the fake option froze the linebacker and opened up a window for Finley to find Meyers, who does the rest. He shows great speed and playmaking ability to shake first-round pick Derwin Jamesin space, and finishes the touchdown with style.... a flip into the endzone.
The play was also huge in the game with State holding a slim 10-7 lead at the time. This touchdown put the Wolfpack up two scores, keeping pressure on FSU's offense and quarterback James Blackman, who was making his first career start.
Huge, huge play because at Florida State you're not going to win without big scoring plays, the Noles are too talented.
No. 3 in our Top 10 offensive plays is the Jakobi Meyers touchdown at Florida State.
