TOP 10 PLAYS: No. 5 Nyheim's Long TD Run vs. UNC
July is here, which means football is right around the corner!
This week we started a month-long feature at Inside Pack Sports where we look back at NC State's top offensive and defensive plays from the 2017 season.
The plays are selected on a variety of factors, ranging from level of difficulty, overall impact, importance to the game/season, etc...
James, Steve, and Bryant reviewed the best plays and submitted their top ten plays on each side of the ball. We put together a composite list, and we will be releasing each play daily, so enjoy!

NC State star tailback Nyheim Hines makes the list at No. 5 with his long touchdown run to clinch the win over rival North Carolina.
A first of a couple of long runs we're going to have on this list from Hines, and on this one you see everything that makes him so special at running back. He has a major skillset... a lot to like about this run.
It came in a critical situation early in the fourth quarter with NC State up just six points, and they needed a big play from Nyheim, which he gave them scoring from midfield off right tackle. On the run you see great patience and vision from Hines, and he also shows you how he can make defenders miss in space.
Nyheim is able to cut and change directions full-speed, then he can out-run multiple defenders to the endzone.
This was a huge play because it gave State a two-score lead, which really put pressure on North Carolina's suspect offense.
Really, this was one of the biggest plays of the year, the long touchdown run Nyheim Hines had in the North Carolina win, and it checks in at No. 5 in our list of the Top 10 offensive plays from the 2017 season.
