TOP 10 PLAYS: No. 8 Steph's Grab vs. Louisville
July is here, which means football is right around the corner!
This week we started a month-long feature at Inside Pack Sports where we look back at NC State's top offensive and defensive plays from the 2017 season.
The plays are selected on a variety of factors, ranging from level of difficulty, overall impact, importance to the game/season, etc...
James, Steve, and Bryant reviewed the best plays and submitted their top ten plays on each side of the ball. We put together a composite list, and we will be releasing each play daily, so enjoy!

We opened our Top 10 plays looking at great catches by star wideouts Jakobi Meyers and Kelvin Harmon, and No. 8 comes from senior wideout Steph Louis.
Louis had this sensational catch against Louisville, and if you remember from that game it was a common theme for NC State to exploit Louisville's secondary.

The Cardinals play a lot of man coverage and have small corners. One-on-one with Harmon, Louis, and Meyers? Not good. All three are really good at timing jump balls and here you see Louis get it done.
What we liked about Steph's grab was how he not only contorted his body to make the catch, but the had the awareness to stay inbounds and gain additional yardage. He didn't look to go out of bounds... he turned it up for even more, which shows great presence and recognition of where he's at on the field.
It was just a really big play and you see his strong hands and catch radius. The defender is in great position, but it doesn't matter on a well-thrown ball and when the receiver is as talented as Louis.
Steph has been an underrated player the last couple of years, but don't be surprised to see him have a huge senior season given how the Wolfpack coaches are expected to use him.
No. 8 on our list gives a great glimpse at what he can do.
