NOTES: NC State has landed a huge commitment from Charlotte (NC) Country Day standout Triston Miller.
At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, Miller starred at right tackle for Country Day as a junior, earning all-conference and all-state honors.
Miller is a high-character prospect who values academics. He is also still developing as a football player with his best years ahead of him given his previous background in hoops.
Blessed with outstanding athleticism and size, he has a huge upside as a tackle prospect. On film he has great feet, plays with an edge, and is a heavy-handed blocker who mauls defenders in the run game.
NC State will be looking to replace All-ACC senior left tackle Tyler Jones following the 2018 season.
"They've told me they want me at left tackle," Miller previously told Inside Pack Sports. "I talked to the coaches about playing early, and they said if I came in and showed I'm ready I could compete for that spot. If not by the first game I could maybe be competing for that spot by the first ACC game."
