RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State Football will play seven games in Carter-Finley Stadium, where it has sold out 27 straight home games, in 2026 according to the schedule announced today by the ACC. Dave Doeren’s 14th Wolfpack squad will also compete in the first collegiate football game ever played in South America and will travel to the West Coast during the course of the season.
Following the season and ACC opener in Week 0 vs. Virginia in Rio de Janeiro, the Pack will play host to Richmond in the home opener on Sept. 12. On Sept. 19, NC State will take on Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., and on Sept. 26, Appalachian State will visit Carter-Finley for the first time in 20 years.
The Pack will open October with back-to-back home games featuring league foes Louisville and Wake Forest. Following an open date, NC State will travel to Stanford for either a Friday or Saturday contest. The next two games - Cal and Duke at home - will also be played on either Friday or Saturday. Those game days will be announced at a later date.
The Wolfpack, which has posted a 33-8 record in Carter-Finley Stadium over the past six campaigns, will play its last home game of the regular season on Nov. 14 vs. Syracuse. NC State will close out the regular season on the road at Florida State and UNC, where it will look for its sixth-straight win over the Tar Heels.
