First field storm of your career?

Yes, it was definitely the first.

What was that like for you?

It felt great. I had fun like out there.

How much of a payoff moment was that game as a whole that you go through, losing 4 out of the previous 5. You've had moments where you could have broken through, but you finally get that one and get Georgia Tech. How much of a breakthrough moment was that?

I think it's like a sense of relief. We always knew we were going to win, but we just had to put it all together and play complementary football. It's just a sense of relief that we finally pulled off a win.

So, you feel like it gives you confidence going into this final stretch of the season and being like, okay, we pulled this off. We can finish strong.

Yes, ma'am. Confidence is always there. We always think we're going to win. It just boosts us up more.

What was the difference, do you think, this time around that you guys got to put together a full performance?

Complementary football. Offense won. Defense getting stops when needed. The teams doing their jobs.

This defense has given up a lot of yards, but in some of these games, particularly in Virginia and now this one, some big moments where you're able to turn the ball over and then obviously be able to hold them to field goals. How much do you guys feel like you're, at this point, more of a bend-but-don't-break defense?

I think we're definitely bend-but-don't-break. I mean, we give up some yards, but we ended up getting stops in the end. We won't stop until we get it.

What's it been like working with Tristan behind you, playing as well as he has the past few weeks?

Oh, it's been fun. Just trying to get acclimated. This is the first time I'm a freshman, so just getting more confidence as we go through the years.

What are some things that the defense is working on here in the bye week?

Communication. We all work on communication. That's one thing we’re working on as a whole.
