Man the soccer team #2 in the country!

Thats amazing! Anyone on here follow our soccer program closely? Is this a surprise ? Something we've been building to? How have we been able to make such a splash this year?

NC State made the Sweet Sixteen last season. The Wolfpack lost at Marshall in the NCAA Tournament, and the Thundering Herd ultimately advanced to the national championship game. Many NCSU players felt like they played better than Marshall did, and that they were at least just as good a team.

Hubbard often had New Hampshire nationally ranked when he coached there. The thought was that once he got to Raleigh, he would eventually build a winner.

What is somewhat surprising is the speed with which he has lifted up the program. Make no mistake, NC State is a genuine College Cup (Final Four) contender, and the Wolfpack could absolutely win an ACC title or even a national title this season or in the near future. They are that good.

The College Cup is in Cary, so when NC State gets there, it will be a massive advantage for the Pack.
