Hill: "This University Means A Lot To Me"
NC State senior defensive tackle B.J. Hill hopes he opened even more eyes with his performance at Pro Day.
On what today means to him...
It means a lot, a dream come true. Had a great couple months, coming from the senior bowl to the combine and pro day, it’s been a lot of fun with my brothers.
On being watched by Bill Belichick...
Dream come true, he’s one of the best coaches in the league. Getting tips from him means a lot.
On what it means having Belichick watch pro day...
We came a long way from the first day I got here until now. We wanted to build a culture and here I think that’s what we did.
On how the program prepared him for the NFL...
This university means a lot to me. I wouldn’t change anything. I enjoyed every second, every minute that I was here. Football, school everything.
On what teams he’s talked to...
I’ve had a lot of meetings since the senior bowl. A lot of teams.
On his relationship with Chubb, Jones and Street...
Yeah we’re tight. We do everything together: go out to eat, play video games. We do it all, work out together. It’s special.
On how his relationship with Chubb, Jones and Street have changed during this process...
It really hasn’t changed. We always stay tight. Text, call each other, see how our workouts are going. Nothing’s changed.
On the impact the coaches had on him...
They were tough on us. Day one we got here until now. They made sure we were the best on and off the field and I appreciate what they did for us.
