COMMIT ALERT: Florida State Forward Jerry Deng Picks NC State

NC State just added an intriguing weapon out of the transfer portal in Florida State 6-foot-9 forward Jerry Deng, who shot 37% from three-point range last season for the Seminoles.

Deng began his career at Hampton, where he averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 39% from three as a true freshman.  

This past season he played just 15.4 minutes per game but was still able to average 7.0 points and 1.9 rebounds on 37% shooting from three and 57% shooting from two.  

He finished the season strong, scoring in double digits in four of the team’s last five games, including 16 points in 20 minutes against North Carolina.
