COMMIT ALERT: NC State lands International Big Man Paul Mbiya

NC State has landed a commitment from international big man Paul Mbiya.

Standing at 6’11 and 240 lbs, the center from South Africa has been suiting up for ASVEL’s U21 squad in France’s ProA league. This season, he has averaged 15.5 points (70.2% FG), 11.6 rebounds, 3.1 blocks, and 1.1 steals in 32.5 minutes.

Mbiya is expected to play a major role in NC State’s frontcourt this season.
