LOCKER ROOM REPORT: Wolfpack Players

NC State's Dontrez Styles and Marcus Hill met with the media following the Wolfpack's 77-59 road loss to Wake Forest Saturday afternoon.

“It’s been a tough week for sure. We’ve just got to get back in the lab and go compete in practice. It starts in practice, and we’ve got to have it carry over to the game. We’ll do that, and we’ll be better.”

“It’s lack of paying attention to detail. I feel like, as a group, we’ve got to be better on defense and execute on offense. It’s early; we’re going to be fine.”

“We locked in and payed attention to detail, the game plan, and what we had to do on defense and offense. We had our chances to win the game, and we did well in the first half. The second half, we kind of let it get away from us, and we can’t afford to do that in the future.”

“We’ve got to be tougher, and we’ve got to focus better. We have our spurts where we’re locked in and focused on the game plan, but at some points in the game, we’re not as focused, and we let the game get away from us like we did tonight. We can’t do that.”

“We dropped two games we felt like we should’ve won. We were in both of these games. We’ve just got to execute. We’ve got to prepare at a high level, go out there on Wednesday, and get the job done.”

“It was little mistakes that we have to clean up. When we go back and watch film, we’ll figure it out.”

“We’ve got to get back to our basketball, winning and everything. We’ve just got to fix it.”
