LOCKER ROOM REPORT: Pack Falls in Queen City to Top-Ranked Gamecocks
No. 9 NC State and No. 1 South Carolina met with the media following the Wolfpack's 71-57 loss to the Gamecocks Sunday afternoon in the 2024 Ally Tipoff inside the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.
Head coach Wes Moore and guards Zamareya Jones and Aziaha James represented the Pack. Jones led State in scoring with 16 points off the bench on 6-of-15 shooting from the field to go along with two assists, one rebound, and one steal. James added 13 points, three assists, and three steals.
For the Gamecocks, head coach Dawn Staley and guards Te-Hina Paopao and MiLaysia Fulwiley addressed the media. Paopao led all scorers with 23 points while tacking on three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Fulwiley came off the bench and contributed 18 points, three rebounds, and one block to South Carolina’s efforts.
