No. 6 NC State defeated No. 8 Virginia Tech 19-15 to win the program's first ACC dual championship since 2004.

NC State dominated the match early, building a 16-3 lead at intermission.  Virginia Tech roared back, winning four straight matches to pull within one at 16-15 heading into the heavyweight match.

Wolfpack senior Michael Boykin came through, scoring a takedown 20 seconds into overtime to secure a 3-1 win to give NC State a 19-15 victory.

NC State finished undefeated in ACC duals for the first time since 2000 and also snapped Virginia Tech's 19-match winning streak.

Next up for the Wolfpack is the final dual of the season, a huge battle against No. 2 Ohio State in Reynolds Coliseum on Sunday at 4:30pm.
