NC State and Virginia have scheduled a non-conference home and home series for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The Cavaliers will visit Raleigh in 2025 and the Wolfpack will travel to Charlottesville in 2026.

Charter members of the ACC, NC State and Virginia first met on the gridiron in 1904 and played 44 times over the next 46 seasons (1958-2003). In the 21 years since the ACC expanded to 11 teams in 2004, the teams have met just seven times.

Under the ACC's most recent scheduling model, the Wolfpack and Cavaliers were only scheduled to play once in the next six years prior to the addition of the 2025 and '26 contests.

The Wolfpack has won the last three meetings: 35-21 in 2018, 38-21 in 2020 and 24-21 last season.
