DUGOUT REPORT: Wolfpack Wins Rubber Match Versus Cavaliers

No. 23 NC State's Elliott Avent, Logan Whitaker, and Garrett Pennington met with the media following the Wolfpack's 13-5 win over No. 10 Virginia Sunday afternoon.

Whitaker started on the mound against the Cavaliers and hurled 4-2/3 innings in which he allowed five runs on seven hits while striking out five batters over 92 pitches. Pennington led the Pack’s offense with a 3-for-4 showing at the plate that included one home run, three runs batted in, and four runs scored.
