DUGOUT REPORT: Avent, Nixon Talk Walk-Off Win Over Irish

No. 22 NC State's Elliott Avent and Luke Nixon met with the media following the Wolfpack's 7-6 win over Notre Dame Friday evening.

Nixon went 2-for-5 at the plate against the Fighting Irish. The Wilmington, N.C. native drove in five runs on the evening with four of those coming on a sixth-inning grand slam and the fifth coming in the bottom of the ninth on a walk-off base hit through the right side.
