DJ Horne Talks Win Over Louisville

NC State guard DJ Horne spoke with the Wolfpack radio crew following State's 89-83 road win at Louisville.

“Coming into this game we had a bad taste in our mouth with UNC with the last game, UNC.  We felt lke we left a lot on the table that game.”

“This was an opportunity to come in and get an ACC road win, which is huge, and to clean up a lot of the mistakes.”

“Trying to get off to a good start... I think we did that well today.”

“For me I know when I get in my head it doesn’t go good so trust my work, trust my teammates, everybody.”

“He was telling us to calm down, take a deep breath... no need for us to tense up.”

“He’s borderline unstoppable. You’re going to give something up, whether you give up the layup, or you send a double and someone will be open. He does a great job finding the open man, nine times out of ten.”

“Michael had a big game for us today, Casey had a great game... whoever checked in brought great enegy.  It was great for Michael to make some shots today and get us going. We definitely needed that and he stepped up to the plate.”
