Dorn: "Every Week Is A Big Week In The ACC"

NC State redshirt junior wing Torin Dorn met with the media to discuss the upcoming game against Wake Forest.

What do you think you need to do differently from the Virginia game?
We have just got to [fix] some things defensively and pay attention to scouting reports. Little things like that and we will be fine. 

Do you look at Virginia and just think that you will not face another defense like that?
They are a very unique defense with their Pack-Line style. It gives a lot of teams trouble so it is definitely something we can learn from and take that into the rest of this year.

What qualities do you get with Markell Johnson returning?
Just energy. Markell brings great energy, great intensity. His defense is something to be reckoned with. He is a great passer. You just get a guy that wants to win and makes all of the right plays. 

Describe the rivalry with Wake Forest? 
It is pretty intense, we went down there last year and their fans don’t like us and our fans don’t like them. I don’t think our fans like anybody but it is fun. In-state rivalries are always fun.

Do you consider this a big week for NC State?
Every week is a big week in the ACC. 

How huge is it to maintain home court in the ACC?
You have always got to take care of home court because it is tough to win on the road as we have seen. If you take care of home court you will be in a good position.
