NC State quarterback MJ Morris will sit out the rest of the season after playing four games for the Wolfpack in 2023, multiple sources have confirmed.
In four starts Morris completed 55.8% of his passes with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. He rushed for 15 yards on 32 carries.
By redshirting, Morris will have three years of eligibility moving forward and still has his one-time transfer option available as well.
NC State will now start Brennan Armstrong at quarterback. Armstrong is the Pack’s leading rusher with 337 yards and three scores and has completed 58.8% of his passes with five touchdowns and six interceptions.
We’ll have more shortly on this development, so stay tuned.
