“We’re not coming off a loss, but we always want to get better. I feel like that’s been the energy from day one.”
“They have some good people at their skill positions. They are fast, big, and I know their o-line is pretty big, too. It’s going to be a great opportunity to play against another good team this week.”
“We want to make it to postseason play, but that’s not just our goal. We want to win as many as we can. We want to win every game; that’s everybody’s mindset.”
“Just knowing that we’re one game away from bowl eligible, that definitely makes a difference.”
“That was our key to victory... no explosive plays for touchdowns. That’s one thing we focused on the entire week.”
“This is my last year of eligibility left... I’ve taken it all in since the very beginning of the season.”
“I harp on my teammates, I just love these guys and I know it’s coming to an end soon.”
“Those types of relationships and those types of bonds... I’ve been cherishing it since the beginning of the season.”
“I’ve lost to them twice, and it’s been close games, last-play type wins for them.”
“It’s been really fun... KC is by far one of the best wide receivers I’ve seen here since I don’t know when. He’s that good. I like KC a lot.”
“Caden [Fordham] is a bit of a younger guy, but he’s good. He fits the run, he does whatever coach tells him to do, exactly how we need him to do.”
“It makes me feel really proud because I know those guys come up to me all the time, and I’m a reflection of them. Whatever I do, they kind of do too.”
“When we tell them stuff... they listen and they can take coaching. They do what they need to do.”
“2019... we had to play.”
“Jordan has always been a heavy hitter, and he’s really athletic. That’s what makes Poole who he is... we watched it in film, too... it was like the loudest thing in the stadium.”
“A lot of physicality from him. That’s what you like to see.”
