DUGOUT REPORT: Wolfpack Sweeps Senators in Fall Doubleheader

NC State's Elliott Avent and Garrett Pennington met with the media following the Wolfpack's doubleheader sweep over Walters State Wednesday evening.

The Pack downed the Senators in the first seven-inning scrimmage at Doak Field, 13-4. Pennington knocked the go-ahead, two-run homer in the bottom of the sixth inning that catalyzed what ended up as a seven-run inning for NC State. As for the second scrimmage, Andrew Shaffner lined a walk-off single to left-center field to secure the win, 7-6.
