Here is a look at how several former Wolfpack stars performed this week in the National Football League.

* David Amerson was inactive for the finale. He missed the last nine games due to injuries.

* Jacoby Brissett completed 15-of-25 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the 22-13 win over Houston.  Brissett finished the year completing 59% of his passes for 3,098 yards and 13 touchdowns with eight interceptions.

* Juston Burris totaled five tackles in the home loss to the Patriots. Burris totaled 21 tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and two pass breakups this season.

* Matthew Dayes didn't receive a carry in the finale against Pittsburgh.  Dayes totaled 13 yards rushing this season on five carries.  He added four receptions for 29 yards.

* Mike Glennon was the backup quarterback this week for Chicago.  The Bears lost 23-10 to the Vikings in the season finale.

* Stephen Hauschka hit all three field goals in Buffalo's win at Miami.  The Bills snuck into the playoffs and will play at Jacksonville this weekend.

* Dontae Johnson totaled five tackles for the 49ers in the win over the Rams.  San Francisco finished the year with five straight wins, and Johnson totaled 77 tackles, seven pass breakups, and returned an interception for a touchdown.

* Josh Jones had three tackles and a pass breakup in the loss to Detroit.  Jones finished his rookie season with 71 tackles, five pass breakups, and two sacks.

* Ted Larsen started at left guard this week for the Dolphins against Buffalo in the season finale for Miami.  He started eight games this season.

* T.Y. McGill was waived by Cleveland and signed back to the practice squad.

* Philip Rivers completed 28-of-37 passes for 387 yards and three touchdowns in the Chargers' 30-10 win over the Raiders.  Rivers and Los Angeles barely missed the playoffs, but he had another stellar year, totaling 4,515 passing yards and 28 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.

Phil shaved 11 interceptions off last year's total, and is still playing at an elite level.

* J.R. Sweezy was inactive this week for Tampa Bay after suffering a knee injury.  Sweezy managed to start 14 games this season for the Bucs.

* Joe Thuney started at left guard for the New England in the win over the Jets.  Thuney started all 16 games for the Patriots, who enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

* Russell Wilson completed 18-of-29 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns in the home loss to Arizona.  Seattle missed the playoffs for the first time with Wilson at the helm, and it was no fault of his. He accounted for a ridiculous 86 percent (37 of 43) of Seattle's touchdowns in 2017... totaling 37 touchdowns with just 11 interceptions.

* Willie Young has been placed on injured reserve with a triceps injury. The Bears lost 23-10 to the Vikings in the season finale.
