COMMIT ALERT: Southern Utah Center Lizzy Williamson Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Southern Utah center Lizzy Williamson.

“I just committed and I’m so excited about it,” Williamson said. “I really think I can improve my game at NC State, and I had so much fun on my visit. Raleigh is a great city and I can’t wait to get there.”

Williamson, a 6-foot-5 center, was the WAC Defensive Player of the Year.  She finished the year averaging 9.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while also averaging 2.3 blocks per game.

Williamson recently visited NC State and picked the Wolfpack over West Virginia. A grad transfer, she could have two more years of eligibility.
