DUGOUT REPORT: Wolfpack Evens Series in South Bend

NC State's Gino Groover, Matt Willadsen, and Cannon Peebles met with the media following the Wolfpack's 5-1 road win over Notre Dame Friday afternoon.

Groover kicked off the scoring with a solo home run in the top of the first inning and added runs in the third and ninth innings with a double and a bases-loaded walk, respectively.

Willadsen (5-3, 2.74 ERA) picked up the win after striking out nine Fighting Irish batters while yielding just six hits and three walks in 6-2/3 innings of work.

Peebles added two hits in five plate appearances on the day.
