COMMIT ALERT: Georgetown Transfer Dontrez Styles Picks NC State

NC State just landed a commitment from Georgetown transfer forward Dontrez Styles.

Styles, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound forward, spent two seasons at North Carolina prior to enrolling at Georgetown.  NC State recruited the former Kinston (NC) star heavily out of high school before he picked the rival Tar Heels.

Styles had a strong first season at Georgetown, averaging 12.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 43% from the field, 37% from three, and 78% from the free throw line.

He is projected to play the fourth guard position in NC State’s system.
