COMMIT ALERT: NC State Lands Four-Star Virginia Defensive Back
NC State offered Chesapeake (VA) Oscar Smith DB Asaad Brown nearly two years ago and has been relentless in their pursuit of his commitment ever since. That loyalty paid off on Wednesday when Brown committed to the Wolfpack.
Rated a four-star prospect by Rivals, Brown (6-0, 175 pounds) first surfaced on the Wolfpack’s radar after a stellar camp performance in 2021. The Pack offered afterwards shortly thereafter and have worked tirelessly to land him ever since.
After the camp offer Brown made a return trip to State for the Alpha Wolf Showcase. Since then he’s made numerous visits back to Raleigh including his most recent trip back in early March.
In addition to NC State, Brown also held scholarship offers from Georgia, Clemson, UNC, Texas A&M, Virginia, Penn State, South Carolina, LSU and Florida State among others.
