DUGOUT REPORT: Wolfpack Bashes Bruins to Win Fifth Straight

No. 21 NC State's Elliott Avent, LuJames Groover, III, and Payton Green met with the media following the Wolfpack's 11-4 win over Belmont Friday afternoon.

Groover catalyzes the Pack’s offense with a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning before rounding the bases on a triple in the fourth inning, scoring on a Bruin error on the same play. He’d drive in one more run on an eighth-inning single. After Belmont tied the game in the top of the third, Green put State ahead for good in the bottom half of the frame with a grand slam, his first home run of the season.
