Several members of the Inside Pack Sports staff predict the winner of the NC State-Boston College matchup.

Pack has played well the last six quarters and seems to have found a rhythm offensively.  I’m looking for the defense to score a touchdown in this one.  Feels like they are due.

Going all the way back to Philip Rivers, senior days make me nervous. With that said, I simply can’t fathom the team letting the seniors go out with a loss against BC.

I’ve got it a two touchdown margin but I think it could potentially be more than that.

Bryant Carson (IPS Football Analyst)

The Pack has a significant number of seniors and underclassmen walking for SR Day thereby increasing the odds that the football field itself will be soaked in tears and drenched in emotion by kickoff.

I think the Pack starts off slowly while Zay Flowers starts at full speed giving BC a few easy scoring opportunities early on.  Eventually State pulls away in a game that feels a lot closer than it actually ever was.

Phillip Danford (IPS Football Analyst)
State 31, Boston College 13

NC State is riding high right now, and they should after that performance versus Wake Forest. But this is Senior Day and I think the emotions of the day will probably lead to a slower start.  Still, the talent of NC State will eventually show and I think they'll be in a position to win comfortably.

I think defensively you'd like to see a little more rotation to keep players ready for the final two weeks.  Offensively, I'm most interested in the run game and whether the team can get the running backs going.

It’s amazing how the feel of the season has changed over the last several weeks. I’ve picked against the Wolfpack a few times in spots that we’ve historically seen losses. Well shame on me for trying to use my head.

I think this will be an extension of Confidence Building 101 for MJ Morris and the revitalized Tim Beck offense. I’m calling Morris to finish with 300+ passing yards and three scores overall.

On defense, the line is going to run rampant and shut down any holes for BC backs to sniff.

Some of the best seniors the program has seen will be recognized on Senior Day. A few may try to squeeze one more year in. Regardless of their decisions, THANK YOU to this senior class. You have given many in Wolfpack Nation hope that we’re on the cusp of taking the program to the next level.
