What is Elite+?
Elite+ is a new subscription service inside the Inside Pack Sports Premium network that brings users who choose to opt in special access to content created in conjunction with student athletes who will also be compensated for their time, effort and NIL.
What is NIL?
NIL refers to the rights of college athletes to monetize and profit from their personal brand, which consists of their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
Is this legal according to NCAA rules and state laws?
Yes. With recently passed bylaws by the NCAA as well as state legislation, student athletes are now allowed to use their individual name, image and likeness to earn money. What Inside Pack Sports is doing with Elite+ falls inside all lines including NCAA rules and North Carolina state laws.
What type of content should I expect from Elite+?
The Elite+ subscription service will deliver regular current student athlete interviews and athlete-centric stories. Subscribers will have an interactive member’s only forum and also receive additional items depending on level of membership.
Is there an Elite+ discussion forum?
Yes! There will be an Elite+ specific forum where all Elite+ content will be hosted. Also, we expect the forum to be interactive... a way for Elite+ subscribers to reach student athletes who have inked deals with Elite+.
Are there user badges for Elite+ subscribers?
Yes. Elite+ subscribers will receive a badge by their username in both the forums and their profile page. The badge will indicate their Elite+ subscription level.
Can I not have the Elite+ badges by my username?
Yes. Once an Elite+ subscriber, you can choose to hide your Elite+ badge by updating the appropriate setting in your Account Settings.
How much of my subscription is actually going back to the student athletes?
Inside Pack Sports is committed to creating a sustainable NIL subscription service that maximizes compensation to its contributors. In our initial year, a minimum of 75% of the proceeds from Elite+ subscriptions will go to compensating participating student athletes for their NIL and role in creating the content.
Which athletes are you going to use?
Inside Pack Sports plans to contract as many student athletes as possible to help generate content for Elite+ subscribers. Student athletes must sign a contract before working and ultimately receiving compensation from Inside Pack Sports.
What do I get from my Elite+ subscription?
Three subscription levels for Elite+ will be offered including 10+, 25+ and 100+. Each will receive access to all Elite+ content, including the members-only forum.
Each subscriber of the 25+ and 100+ levels will receive exclusive Elite+ items annually while 100+ level subscribers will receive additional interactive access and signed memorabilia options.
Inside Pack Sports also plans to provide additional perks for all subscription levels at its discretion during the course of the calendar year.
Can I remain a IPS Premium subscriber and not opt into Elite+?
Yes. Elite+ membership is optional and will not impact anything about your experience as a Inside Pack Sports Premium member.
Can I sign up for just a Elite+ subscription?
Not at this time. An Elite+ subscription (of any level) can only be added to an Inside Pack Sports monthly and annual subscriptions.
Do I have to restart my current subscription to add Elite+?
Yes. Although your current Inside Pack Sports subscription must be restarted, you will receive an automatic credit during the check-out process for what is remaining on your current monthly or annual subscription.
Can I add on a monthly Elite+ subscription to an annual Premium subscription?
No. Because a Elite+ subscription requires an Inside Pack Sports Premium monthly or annual subscription, the term of both subscriptions must be synced together.
How do I cancel my Elite+ subscription?
Like all other Inside Pack Sports subscriptions, the auto-renewal of Elite+ can be canceled anytime in your account settings up until midnight of the day before your renewal.
Can I gift an Elite+ subscription?
Not at this time.
