COMMIT ALERT: 4-Star Corner Shyheim Battle Picks NC State

NC State landed a huge commitment today from Rocky Mount (NC) four-star cornerback Shyheim Battle‍.

"It's a home feeling," Battle said.  "State is right up the street from home, and it's going to be like playing at home... I'll be playing with a bunch of guys I know."

Battle, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound cornerback, picked the Wolfpack over offers from Clemson, North Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Duke, and Virginia Tech among others.

He is NC State's 21st commitment in the 2019 class.
