The NC State women's soccer team advanced to the NCAA Second Round for the third consecutive year and 11th time in program history on Friday evening, thanks to its 1-0 win over Northwestern in the NCAA First Round at Dail Soccer Stadium in Raleigh, N.C.

Hannah Keogh's corner kick in the 76th minute proved to be the game-winner, allowing the Wolfpack to improve to 11-6-3 while the Wildcats end their season with a 10-5-4 record.
Up NextNC State will face the winner of the Santa Clara vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee matchup at UCLA's Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif., Nov. 16 in the NCAA Second Round. Santa Clara and Milwaukee are slated to play Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.
