A thread where folks can discuss the different club teams and leagues of European soccer.

There are many different leagues to choose from. Countries include England, Scotland, Italy, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Germany, and others. All have great league soccer. If you have thoughts, post them here. I also have a Spanish thread for my favorite team, Real Madrid.

I also would be interested to know which European teams some of you all root for. Real Madrid and Celtic are my main two. Manchester United is my English team.

Yes, the Villains lost the Supercup.

When I was a young boy, I remember reading about Aston Villa winning the European Cup. To win Europa last season must have been a massive thrill for their supporters.

Almost like winning an ACC Championship after not doing it for 3 plus decades.

May not have been a better week for Villa, won the Cup, and beat liverpool and Man city. Not a bad end of season week.

When I was young......

I remember hearing that Black Sabbath were all Aston Villa fans. Pretty Cool, Ozzy. A little more well rounded than just some guy that bit the head off a dove.

Ozzy was from Aston very close to villa park. And in Aston they talk just like he does/did.
