DURHAM, N.C. - The red and white of NC State shone bright in Durham as the track & field team kicked off its first day at the Duke Invitational.

Judd Armstrong came away with a strong third-place finish, clearing a height of 2.06m, which equals his personal best mark.

James Coleman qualified for the 110m hurdles final with an overall fourth-place finish, crossing the finish line in 14.06. Finals will take place tomorrow at 12:45 pm.

Brooke Rauber ran a personal-best and top-10 program history time, crossing the finish line in 4:13.56, earning a third-place finish.

12 athletes achieved personal-best marks on the day.

On the last day of the Duke Invitational, the following events will occur: long jump, triple jump, javelin, shot put, 110m hurdles final, 400m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4x100m relay, 4x400m relay. The meet will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra starting at 11:30 am.
