POSTGAME: Freeman On The Clemson Loss

CLEMSON, SC -- NC State senior forward Lennard Freeman met with the media after the loss to the Tigers.

What did you take from today's game and coach's comments after the game?
What I took from coach was that he was right. This is our last try, there is no more... if we don't fix it, it's going to be over with, too late.

We have to put more input in and be more leaders... don't leave anything in the tank.

From the game, it was up-and-down. We're still young, not really young but a lot of people haven't played in the ACC. I won't use that as an excuse. 

We had a lot of positives and negatives, we just have to play smart.

It seemed it got tough with Malik and Omer out?
That was one of our main focuses on the defensive side, stop them in transition.

In the halfcourt I feel like we did a lot of ball-watching... we have to keep our head on a swivel and be aware of our man and the ball.

If we clean that up it will make us a better team.
