Swept Army 3 sets to zero, and by a fairly large margin in each set. I was there, and there was an excellent crowd at this match. Per GoPack, the official attendance was 3,331. I would have estimated a little less than that, maybe 2,500…but whatever, I'm happy to be wrong. The Student Wolfpack Club had one of their "minute events" for this match, resulting in several hundred or maybe at least one thousand students being there. Was a pretty good atmosphere in Reynolds.

The Polish recruit that committed late in the offseason, Zuzanna Maciejewicz, was a great addition to the team, and is one of our very best players already. She's a defensive specialist and is rock solid digging and passing. As a team, our hitting/attacking is not bad, but needs to improve a little bit, IMO in order for us to be a good team. With such a young team, hopefully they make significant improvement as the season progresses.

Home match tomorrow (Wednesday, Sept 10) versus South Carolina at 6:00pm in Reynolds Coliseum. South Carolina currently has a 3-3 record, with losses to Clemson (2-3), Florida State (0-3), and USF (1-3). So we definitely have a good chance of winning this match, especially with the home crowd advantage.

The Student Wolfpack Club has this match as a "double minutes" event, which should mean there will be a lot of students there (probably at least 1,000, maybe 1,500). So I would expect there to be a very good crowd on hand for this match, and a lively atmosphere.

For those who have never come to a match, all tickets are "General Admission". So come early enough and you can sit wherever you want, including right down beside the court on the lower level.
