Anyone watch? Currently watching the Indy NXT race, which has been fun so far. Fox's coverage (besides commercials) has been great

I've got it on, I was looking to see how FOX was going to air the races.

That was mainly why I had it on, to see the Fox coverage. Thought it was really good outside the commercials, so I am happy with it. Plan on both the Indy and Nascar as they are at COTA, which is one of my favorite tracks in the world

I was impressed with the coverage as well. I'm with you, good day for racing. COTA, is a good one hope NASCAR and SMI come back next year.

It's gonna take some getting used to seeing Will Buxton as an Indycar commentator

I was a COVID Drive to Survive convert. One of my best friends tried forever to get me into F1, but it never stuck until then. Now, it's part of my regular Sunday. Great way to start a Sunday, and Indy almost always lines up afterwards.

So FOX does know how to show the drivers and not cartoon characters. Interesting...

1971. The 2nd of Big Al's back-to-back Indy 500 wins... Johnny Lightning 500 was the car sponsor. Took these two years ago at the Unser Museum in Albuquerque.

Only quick way to tell the difference between the 1970 and 1971 cars is the car number. Same sponsor and paint scheme both years, except the 1970 car number was #2.

Anybody remember what Johnny Lightning 500 was? (Glass is probably my best chance with this question).

Ericsson had a really good day . He won the early race today and led most of it. i'd not all. He was strong in the 100 laps too. My daughter followed him a ways.

F1 and Indy are completely different. I believe Indy has a common chassis, from the same builder, Dalara. F1 has Ferrari! Ok, I'm a big Ferrari person.

Different track, a lot more money in F1, F1 is a World Series; whereas, Indy is mostly US, with a few exceptions.

Johnny Lightning ended up being a manufacturer of scale models, I think…

Those are probably two of my favorite European tracks. Id throw Silverstone in there too

I've been watching F1 since the 70's. Unfortunately, the series hasn't always been on TV. At one point, speed channel (or whatever is was called) carried F1. This was during the era of Michael Schumacher, with Ferrari.

F1 has really become one of my favorite sporting events to follow, even more so than Pack sports.

Since I was a kid, I've always been enthralled with Ferrari, so, that's my team. I'm a big Charles Leclerc and I'm not a fan of Lewis Hamilton; however, I do pull for the team in Red.

My other team is Williams. I'm excited for Carlos Sainz to join them. Hopefully, they will get back to their glory days of winning big, in the series…

Also, it's hard not to like Lando..

Rain tomorrow and six rookies on the grid. Looking forward to the chaos

Does Indy race in the rain? I know NASCAR has a wet weather tire for damp conditions for short tracks.

Yea, Indy races in the rain. I was referencing the Australian GP, the F1 season opener

I enjoyed. The two odds on favorites were 1 and 2.

Think you might be writing off Piastri a tad early. I did have a small flyer on Max to win due to the rain.

That's the type of race I root for. Unpredictability and chaos

hamilton's comment saying it went much worse than he ever imagine was telling. ferrari just can't get out of their own way sometimes, they need to let the drivers call the race and see what happens.

Ferrari has screwed up enough races over the years, for sure…

I think Lando is the odds on favorites, from McLaren to win…. I could be wrong..

Kind of a boring race, which is a shame because the track usually produces some bangers.

Looking forward to the Indy race at Thermal this afternoon. Caught a bit of qualifying and the track looks great, if a bit cartoonish
