The women's hockey team has released their schedule. Pack didn't win any games last year, so we'll see if we can improve on that as a starting point. Still no local games this season unfortunately, although most of the games should have a streaming option available. Check out the team website here.

11/3 - at Virginia Tech -- L, 7-4
11/15 - George Washington -- W, 12-5
11/16 - North Carolina -- W, 4-3 (OT)
11/17 - Georgetown -- L, 9-6
11/24 - at Virginia -- 10:00am
1/25 - at Virginia Tech -- 4:00pm
2/15 - at High Point -- 4:00pm

Bummer they don't have any games in the triangle area, with Greensboro (I think) being the closest. I went to a couple games in their very first season a few years back (around fall 2021 and winter 2022, I think it was). I went to one of their games over at the Orange County Sportsplex in Hillsborough that season, and then I made it to the championship game in Winston Salem, in February 2022 where they won the ACCHL (?) championship.

Yeah it's unfortunate but they just don't have the money to get rink time right now. This team had a few really good individual contributors the first few seasons (Hannah Murphy, Emily Petersen), but they just don't have the talent to keep up with most of these teams right now. I think the team will be a bit better than last year, but haven't really had a chance to watch yet. GW, UNC, Gtown all feel like winnable games this weekend. ACCHL is still High Point's to lose and I don't think it's really that close.

First win for the ladies since February 2023. This year's squad has some players that can actually put the puck in the net; most notably Grace Mottau, who led the way with 7 goals.

Grace Mottau rescues the Pack in OT after blowing a 3-0 lead. Pack could've easily scored 10 or more goals, but UNC's goalie was exceptional. Still a nice win for the Pack.
