No. 16 NC State gymnastics' season came to a close on Thursday evening, as the Wolfpack brought home a fourth-place finish in the third session of the Ann Arbor Regional against top-ranked Oklahoma, Ohio State and Illinois.
Oklahoma took first place in the meet at 198.050, with Ohio State additionally advancing after a second-place 196.975. Illinois ended the evening in third place at 196,750.
Floor (49.150)The Pack's night began on floor where NC State was led by a 9.875 from
Krista Zultevicz, the best score ever recorded by the senior in the postseason.
Chloe Negrete anchored for the Wolfpack at 9.850, while a 9.825 from
Emily Shepard and a pair of 9.800 tallies from leadoff
Katya Edwards and freshman
Ashley Knight ensured the NC State only counted scores of 9.8+.
Vault (48.825)Knight led the way for NC State during its on vault for the second-straight meet, as she recorded the third 9.9+ score in her last four vault routines at 9.900. Shepard fired a 9.800 while the Pack counted a pair of 9.725 scores from
Alexis Ortega and
Meg Adler. A 9.675 from Zultevicz in the leadoff spot rounded out NC State's scoring effort in its second rotation.
Bars (48.925)The duo of Shepard and freshman
Katie Harper were the leaders for the Wolfpack on bars, matching each other at 9.850. Bar specialists
Madeline Reid and
Peyton Childs each came in at 9.750, while leadoff
Kailee Adomaites used a 9.725 to cap off NC State's third-rotation total.

NC State's 2024 campaign closes as one of the most successful in program history, with the Wolfpack claiming both the ACC regular season and postseason championships while tabbing four scores of 197+ over the course of the season. 2025 looks to be another exciting year in the ACC after the 2024 inaugural season, as Cal and Stanford will be joining the league for next year's slate of competition.
