The ACC announced on Monday afternoon that Chloe Negrete would be the league's Gymnast of the Week after the final meet of the regular season, her fourth weekly award of the season and her second ACC Gymnast of the Week honor.

Negrete competed in three events during Friday night's quad meet at Florida with Iowa State and Temple, tabbing a 9.9+ on each event.

Negrete's night was highlighted by a pair of podium finishes on vault and beam, with the graduate registering a new career high at 9.925 during NC State's final rotation on vault while tying for first place on beam alongside Florida's Alyssa Arana and Sloane Blakely at the same score.

Negrete additionally tabbed a 9.900 on floor during the Wolfpack's third rotation, the event which six of her 13 9.9+ totals have come in.

An NC State gymnast has now won ACC Gymnast of the Week nine weeks in a row, with Negrete having won after her performance at North Carolina on Jan. 19 and Emily Shepard winning seven-straight Gymnast of the Week crowns stretching from the Pack's home opener against Pitt on Jan. 26 to its final meet in Reynolds Coliseum this season on Mar. 10.

Negrete and the rest of the Wolfpack return to action on Saturday, Mar. 23 as No. 19 NC State will compete in the ACC Championships alongside Clemson, North Carolina, and Pitt. The first rotation of the ACC quad is slated for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on the ACC Network.
