NC State Women's tennis took home a pair of ACC weekly honors as Amelia Rajecki was recognized for the second time this year as ACC Player of the Week. Maddy Zampardo won her first ACC Freshman of the Week award, the conference announced Tuesday.

Rajecki posted a 6-0 overall record over the weekend, notching four-straight singles wins and a pair of doubles victories with Zampardo. No. 3 Rajecki is unbeaten in nine straight matches after playing to four straight two-set victories. She is fourth all-time on the NC State career singles win list with 94 and fourth all-time in doubles with 92 career doubles wins. The Nottingham, England, native helped push No. 6 NC State to a 2-0 record in ACC play after collecting a pair of 5-2 wins over both Notre Dame and Louisville.

Zampardo registered a 5-0 weekend with wins on four courts between doubles and singles. The Detroit native started the weekend on court one with a ranked ACC win in doubles with Rajecki over Notre Dame and No. 32 pairing Carrie Beckman and Julia Andreach. In the three singles matches in which she played, she won in two sets, winning on courts three, four, and five. Her four-match win streak is the longest of her career to date.

In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Rankings released on Tuesday, Rajecki and Zampardo moved up to 10th in the nation in doubles.

Rajecki, Zampardo, and the rest of the women's tennis team prepare for another ACC Clash on Friday, March 8th, at Noon as they welcome Wake Forest to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
