NC State Signee Terquavion Smith Named East-West MVP

NC State signee Terquavion Smith‍ earned MVP honors tonight after scoring 30 points for the East in a 116-92 victory over the West in the men's basketball NC Coaches Association All-Star game.

He finished the game with 30 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Fellow Wolfpack signee Breon Pass‍ suited up for the West squad.

Smith, a 6-foot-3 shooting guard, averaged 25.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 3.2 steals to lead Farmville Central to the 2A state title this past season.  One of the most accomplished players in state history, Smith led the Jaguars to three state championships during his career. 

He was recently named Mr. Basketball by the Charlotte Observer and NC Gatorade Player of the Year.
