Before the string of postponements, the Cavaliers were already facing a depleted roster due to multiple long-term injuries that left the team with just seven healthy players in the team's previous two games. UVA was also forced to cancel their game at George Washington due to not having enough players to play.

The NC State women's basketball game against Virginia, which was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 14, has been postponed. The postponement is a result of the Wolfpack and the Cavaliers both remaining in the Atlantic Coast Conference's outlined COVID-19 protocols.

As part of the Atlantic Coast Conference's announcement, the league office also announced a rescheduled game for the Pack. NC State will travel to Virginia Tech on Thursday, Jan. 28 (rescheduled from Jan. 7), with tip-off for that game set for 4 p.m.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced that the NC State women's basketball game at Florida State (originally scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21) has been postponed. The postponement is a result of the Wolfpack remaining in the league's outlined COVID-19 protocols.

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the NC State at Florida State and Clemson at Boston College women's basketball games scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 21, have been postponed.

NC State remains in COVID protocols, resulting in the postponement of the NC State-Florida State game. The postponement of the Clemson-Boston College game follows a positive test, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing within the Boston College program. Both programs are adhering to the outlined protocols within the ACC Medical Advisory Group report, which is available on theACC.com (full report).

As a result of the postponements, Clemson will travel to Florida State for a 7 p.m. game Thursday (Jan. 21) on ACC Network Extra, moving up the originally scheduled for Jan. 26 game. Thursday's Georgia Tech at Wake Forest game will now tip off at 8 p.m. on ACC Network.

Additionally, Florida State will travel to Georgia Tech for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday, Jan. 24, moving up the originally scheduled Jan. 31 game. The Seminoles will now host the Yellow Jackets on Thursday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m.

North Carolina will visit Virginia Tech on Sunday, Feb. 28, in a game that has been added to the schedule. The tip time and TV designations will be posted to theACC.com when available.
