he NC State women's golf team turned in scores of 292 and 301 on Friday at the Bryan National Collegiate to sit in sixth place out of 18 teams with a 17-over par 593.
Hosted by Wake Forest and UNCG at Bryan Park Champions Course, UNC-Chapel Hill leads the field with a 587 (+11), while Furman is one stroke back in second while Auburn and Tennessee share a tie for third at 589.
The teams will attempt to wrap up competition Saturday in an 10 a.m. shotgun start, with the weather permitting. If the weather doesn't allow for play Saturday, the final 18 holes will be contested Sunday in a shotgun start.
