Update time. For the past year, Grayson has been receiving palliative care. Over that time, we have continued to see a slow decline in his health. His bout with pneumonia set him back greatly. 1/4

All of his medical team agreed that it was time to transition him to hospice level care. We all know Grayson is a fighter, and we don't anticipate the worst happening in the short term. He's had a really good couple of weeks. 2/4

We decided we were ready to share this with you because you all love him so much and your encouragement always helps all of us. We will continue to live life as normally as possible, 3/4

but we are thankful for the extra supports we now have in place to keep him comfortable as he needs it. Life is short, please make sure to tell those that you love that you love them. #teamgrayson 4/4

So irritating that @BlueKC has decided that Grayson no longer needs a medication that he's been taking for YEARS, so they will no longer cover it because he takes it for an off label reason (and always has). I'm sure they know better than his actual doctors.
