NCAA Power Rankings: Wolfpack Women Check In At No. 4

NCAA.com has released its latest Power Rankings for women's basketball and NC State is now No. 4 overall in the country.

Here is what was said about the Wolfpack, who was No. 8 in last week’s rankings.

4) North Carolina State (22-1) (8) A big jump for the Wolfpack this week thanks to eight-straight wins, including a win over Virginia Tech in their lone game last week. The Wolfpack, who lead the ACC in eight statistical categories, might be positioning themselves for a No. 1 seed at this point, and could go a long way in making a case this week when they host Louisville with a chance to expand their lead in the ACC standings.

NC State is currently No. 1 in the ACC with a one-game lead over Louisville.  The Wolfpack will host the Cardinals Thursday night at 8:00 pm.  A win would give the Pack a two-game lead plus the tiebreaker over Louisville.
