Following a five-set battle on Wednesday, the NC State volleyball team looks to rebound Friday evening as they host Virginia Tech at 7 p.m. The Wolfpack will play its second-straight match in Reynolds Coliseum as they look to pick up their first ACC win of the season. The match will be broadcast on ACCNX.
SCOUTING VIRGINIA TECH
Virginia Tech (7-8, 0-2 ACC) is also looking for its first conference win, dropping its opening weekend to Virginia and No. 4 Pitt. The Hokies have been led through its first 14 games of the season by freshman Logan Mosley in the libero position. Prior to the Pitt match, Mosley ranked second in the conference behind NC State's Kaylee Frazier with 4.64 digs per set. She also holds the single-match ACC best this season with a 39 dig performance against Davidson, which also ranks seventh in the NCAA.
Three Virginia Tech players are averaging at least 2.00 kills per set, led by Tessa Wyner's 2.98.
