The NC State women's tennis got its fall finale off on the right foot as it recorded a perfect 7-0 record on the opening day of play at the Rebel Invitational at the Ferttita Tennis Complex on Friday.

The NC State women's tennis team built off its opening day success at the Rebel Invite on Saturday as Tayla Stenta, Amanda Rebol and Taylor Bridges advanced to the championship matches of their singles flights at the Ferttita Tennis Complex

Rebol overcame Anna Bogoslavets of UNLV 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 to advance to the final of the #2 singles draw while in the #3 singles draw, Bridges prevailed 6-4, 6-4, over Grand Canyon's Emilia Ochipinti. In the #4 singles draw, Stenta earned a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Arizona's Sophia Thomas in her semifinal match.

In their finals, Rebol faces En-Pei Hung of UNLV, Bridges takes on Izumi Hasano of UNLV and Stenta looks to overcome Juliet Zhang, also of UNLV.

On the doubles side of the draw, Rebol & Adriana Reami fell 8-7(5) to #29 Eva Paalma & Domenica Gonzalez of Texas A&M in the #1 doubles draw and now contest the third-place match against Texas A&M's Iulia Ivascu & Riley Mcquaid.

Bianca Moldovan and Bridges will contest the consolation final in the #1 doubles draw follow their 8-4 loss to En-Pei Huang & Aiwen Zhu of UNLV. Their opponents in the consolation final are Devin Chypya & Camila Westbrooks.

The NC State women's tennis team continued its strong doubles play and showed tremendous poise down the stretch in singles as it outlasted Wichita State 4-3 Friday at the Wichita Country Club.

Along with picking up wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles spots, Anna Rogers & Adriana Reami both turned in gritty three-set singles victories playing at No. 1 and No. 2.
