Bingo. We have no idea if some of these guys are prioritized. We don't know if Hand actually had a committable offer or if he was a backup plan. Lets not freak out over things we don't have all the important info on. I think because we have no one committed in this class and where we are here in September, some people are freaking out.

I think we'll lock up Phillips this month but we shall see.

I remember people on this board saying Phillips looked horrible this summer. Do we still want him? Or is it kind of a situation where we can't get anyone else?

AAU is never kind to big men and his particular team unfortunately had a huge black hole in it by the name of Emoni Bates. Not too many opportunities for anyone else on that team to stand out. haha

The kid is talented but info regurgitated from other sites and twitter should always be taken with a grain of salt.

I agree with your statements. All summer I kept posting about all of our recruits performances and his stuck out because they were duds. I also said playing with emoni Bates was horrible for him this past year in high school and aau, it was just the let's get emoni 35 shots a game show. So I forgive his offensive output, for me what stood out was his fouls per game was higher than rebounds if I remember correctly. I think he has a ton of potential I'm just not sure his motor is all the way there. A game this past year on national television he had like 20 points 28 rebounds and 5 blocks (not looking it up just going off of memory) so when he puts it together he can be extremely good

From what I have heard it's mainly Pitt, Cincinnati and us now for skillings. Obviously the other schools are still in play but those are the top 3 with Pitt in the lead after his last visit and being from Pennsylvania

I have also heard that jericole Hellems is his host this weekend which could help us because that's the exact same play style from up north

Skillings is more likely by a long way. Skillings and Jett Howard were on the same team at nbpa top 100 and preformed fairly similar
