Hayes has the talent to be a good ACC PG. But does he have the intangibles? Competitive drive? Aggressiveness?

Shakeel Moore was a top 120 kid from the two sites that matter. He's also shown as a freshman he belongs in the ACC.

As Keatts said how many of these good sophomores this year made jumps from not so great freshman years. He named off 5 kids who made huge jumps. I think Cam can make a jump. I think Shak will be great. We really just need. 3 that is ready to ball next year and we can be really good. I think the transfer wire can be our friend here.

I think his knee injury early on scared a lot of schools off.

Just like any highly ranked kid, he'll have options, including the G League.

John Michael Wright will apparently move up after this year from high point. He's from Fayetteville and is averaging 21 points 5 rebounds 4 assists this year as a sophomore. If he does transfer I imagine he'll be a hot commodity

There's a difference between recruiting over a kid, having an honest conversation with him about his playing time, and letting him make the decision to transfer out or not and this statement. I don't want any man who would "force out" 18-20 year old young men that WE spent years trying to get to come to State to join US as a coach at my school. That's a complete lack of character.

Right, it's obvious that some kids can't play at the acc level (lavar batts, Ian steer, AJ Taylor) but our kids didn't get a full off season to improve or get in great shape. I think nick is gonna lose more weight ( he looks smaller than a couple of weeks ago at bc) and other guys will get better I'lf they don't decide to transfer

I guess we'll see, but dunlow seemed to doubt it all along, and it seemed to come out of nowhere and be too good to be true to me. You know what they say when something seems too good to be true, it usually isn't true.

He says the right thing to say if he's not ready to commit anywhere. Doesn't mean in any way that we're not still in the thick of it for him.

You don't build up hype and interest if you have a clear leader. Kid isn't ready to make a decision and wants to get some attention. Don't blame him one bit.

But I'd bet State is still the leader.

Don't think we chase after a guy at 6'3 who can't shoot but I do remember him playing well against us last year and he's from Durham so we might take him
